1. Start With a Deep De-Stink: Finding Every Hidden Urine Spot

The first step in eliminating urine odors is to locate all the hidden spots where urine might have seeped. Use a black light to find urine stains that are invisible to the naked eye. Turn off the lights in your bathroom and shine the black light around the toilet base, walls, and floor. Urine stains will glow, helping you identify areas that need extra attention.
Once you’ve identified the spots, clean them thoroughly using a mixture of one cup of hydrogen peroxide, three tablespoons of baking soda, and a few drops of dish soap. Spray this solution directly onto the stains, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then scrub with a brush before rinsing with water.
2. Power-Clean the Toilet Base, Hinges, and Hard-To-Reach Gaps

The base of the toilet and the hinges are notorious for trapping urine and grime. Begin by removing the toilet seat to access the hinges. Use an old toothbrush and a bathroom cleaner to scrub these areas thoroughly. Pay special attention to the crevices and gaps where urine may have settled over time.
For the toilet base, mix a solution of equal parts vinegar and water. Spray this onto the base, especially at the junction where the toilet meets the floor. Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before wiping it away with a clean cloth. This will help break down any urine deposits and neutralize odors.
